Fresco paintings

Fresco painting is a very old techniques where earthy pigment is mixed with water and applied to damp plaster so that it incorporates and fixes in a chemical process with the result of a surface of colour (exactly as marble is coloured in nature). The fresco, once dried, can be transferred on canvas. This fine art passed down by artists over centuries, can still be used and appreciated to this day.
